Fantastic to find affordable fish for those of us who don’t need fancy, just want good fish! I don’t usually make Poke with it, rather, I make a lettuce salad. The ingredients vary, but some common ones are: Romaine lettuce, roasted and crushed nori, tomato, avocado, lemon/lime/orange with rind, cucumber, minced apple, pineapple, cashews, pistachios…
Likewise, the dressing varies with what’s available and the mood but some ingredients are: fish sauce, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, soy, coconut milk, Nari hot sauce, wasabi… I often add a dollop of mayo on the side.
